MY Story…

“I’ve Trained With Weights Since I Was 18…”

Once Cathy opened Fit Beyond 50, she was soon running out of time to fit in all those clients that wanted a better way of training, so she asked me to turn my years of knowledge into qualifications. this made me realise how much I loved fitness and how important I believe it is for everyone to look after their health and fitness so that they can enjoy their lives at any age.

Qualifications:

Personal Trainer

With over 40 years experience in Strength Training and Cariovascular fitness I graduated from the Australian Institute of Fitness on 27th November 2012 with Certificate 3 (Gym Instructor) and Certificate 4 (Personal Trainer) and with the Master Trainers Certificate.

Crankit!

I enjoy discovering new ways to improve fitness and to add variety to my training and to that of my clients, so in March 2013 I completed a Crankit Fitness course (suspension training) adding another dimension to my knowledge of fitness and strength.

Honestly if you need a Personal Trainer who has been there and done that! Well Here I Am!

(Oh and I better let you know that I’m not great at being modest!)

Being strong and able to carry out physical tasks easily as you age is going to ensure you keep your independence for as long as possible

I also loved helping Cathy to reach her goal of competing, in fact I was the one that decorated her stage bikinis!!

Yes I really do know my stuff, I am a motivator and a shape shifter with serious knowledge – Cathy will happily tell you that without me she would never have achieved the results she did or have stepped on stage.

I was the one who made sure she got all her cardio done, even on cold wet days when she snarled at me like a hungry mountain lion, I risked my husband statis and various parts of my anatomy to get her to her goal.

Now I may not risk bits of my anatomy for you, but I will be the one who can get you to where you want to be and I will help you move every smountains one stone at a time if that’s what it takes.

I have an arsenal of exercises that can target those spots that YOU really want to change and not just a text book of vague exercises to make you sweat!
