People obsess over it, cry over it, fight over it and hide it. I’ve heard about it calling out peoples names in the dark of a lonely night and it seems to hold a magic spell over everyone in some form or another.
Are you a sweetaholic, who has to inhale sugary treats at least once a day to even function without biting and scratching at loved ones? Or does your heart melt when you see a loaf of warm crusty bread layered with butter lying seductively on your plate?
Food is the final frontier when it comes to getting your health and fitness on track, and at Fit Beyond 50 we never use the dreaded D word (Diet) and you will get growled at with a tiger like snarl if you ask if you can live on those dusty chemical snowstorms called “Meal Replacement” shakes!!!
Your body is LITERALLY made up from what you eat! Would shove diesel in your petrol car just because that pump was closest to your petrol cap??? I bet not, but you will happily shove food made from unnameable chemicals, just because it is quick and convenient, in your mouth and expect your body to purr like a kitten when really it makes you feel like a matted toothless alleycat.
